Set-up guide
Connect Xero in five steps.
About five minutes, once per shop. You'll need the Ukilu app on the iPad, an owner or admin login, and your Xero sign-in.

Open Integrations & Add-ons
On the iPad, sign in as the owner or an admin and go to Settings → Integrations & Add-ons.

Tap Xero under Accounting
If the Xero add-on isn't on yet, Ukilu shows the price first. Tap Add Xero — you pay today only for the days left until your plan renews.

Sign in to Xero and allow access
Xero's own sign-in page opens. Choose the organisation for this shop and tap Allow access. You come straight back to Ukilu, now showing Connected.

Choose your Xero accounts
Tap Xero, then Choose Xero accounts. Set where Sales, GST-free sales, Card surcharges and Tips go, with their tax rate, and which account each payment method is received into.

Send your first day
Leave Send each day automatically on, or pick a day and tap Send now to see it arrive in Xero straight away.
Sending starts from the day you connect. If a morning's send fails, Ukilu tries again and shows the day as not sent on the Xero screen until it goes through.
FAQ
Xero and Ukilu
Xero is an add-on for the Elite plan at A$15/month, billed with your plan on the same card and renewal date. You can cancel it any time from the Xero screen in the app.
No — one invoice per day. Your accountant gets clean daily totals that match the bank deposits, instead of hundreds of tiny invoices. Every individual sale stays in Ukilu's reports.
Open the Xero screen, pick that day and tap Send now. Ukilu voids the invoice it sent before and raises a new one from the figures in Ukilu now.
Prices in Ukilu include GST, so amounts are sent tax-inclusive with the tax rate you chose for each line. Tips are usually BAS excluded — check with your accountant before you change the defaults.
Ukilu stops sending anything to that Xero organisation. Everything already in Xero stays there. If Xero access ever expires, the app shows Reconnect Xero — tap it and sign in again.
